kermodeandmayo controversies
Kermode and Mayo's Film Review has not been without its controversies. In 2016, the programme came under fire for featuring a clip from the film World War Z which had been edited to remove a Muslim character. Kermode later apologised for the incident. The programme has also been criticised for its lack of diversity, with some commentators claiming that it features too few female and non-white guests.
