4 Non Blondes was an American alternative rock band, formed in 1989 in San Francisco, California by Linda Perry (lead singer), Christa Hillhouse (bassist), Shaunna Hall (guitar player), Dawn Richardson (drums) and Wanda Day (drummer). The band's first album, Bigger, Better, Faster, More! was released in 1992, and the band's second album, What's Up? was released in 1993, and was one of the most successful albums of the 1990s, selling over 1.5 million copies in the United States. In 1994, Linda Perry left the band, and the remaining members decided to break up.
